Kelly Konings is an award-winning Dutch textile designer based in Sweden, specialising in jacquard weaving, 3D weaving, whole-garment weaving and woven projects for a new circular fashion industry. Her interdisciplinary practice seamlessly merges textile design with the fashion industry through weaving, cultural history, and contemporary craftsmanship. 

Konings earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from ArtEZ University of the Arts (NL), followed by an extensive career in the fashion industry, and a Master’s degree in Textile Design from the Swedish School of Textiles at the University of Borås (SE). Her textile collections have been featured in magazines such as Vogue, Elle, ID Magazine and Scandinavian Minds and have been awarded the ‘Henrik Vibskov P:I:G Award 2025’, and the ‘ELLE Circular Fashion Award 2023’. Her work has been nominated for the ‘Dorothy Waxman International Textile Design Prize’, the ‘ALPHA Award’ and the ‘European Craft Prize for Applied Arts’.

Kelly Konings’ work has been presented at institutions such as ITS International Talent Support, New Order of Fashion, The Linen Project, Crafts Council NL, Stockholm Furniture Fair, Stockholm Craft Week, Copenhagen Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, Dutch Design Week, Salone del Mobile, Stockholm Creative Edition, Première Vision, and is represented by Gallery Rademakers.
